Memory Foam Bed Frame
Memory
Foam Mattresses Need Your Support
In order to offer you proper support, your memory foam bed needs to
be on a flat, hard surface. That means you can't just put your new
mattress on top of your old box spring. One option you have is our
iFrame, an innovative bed frame that can function as a stand alone
item, and is also capable of working with your existing bed frame.
Detach the wheels, and it will fit inside your bed frame like your
old box spring did. Please note that the iFrame comes with a fabric,
much like a box spring, though it is not pictured here.
Features of the iFrame:
- Strong steel construction
- Assembles easily in minutes
- Optional wheels allow the iFrame to work as a foundation (box
spring) or a fully functional bed frame.
- Attractive fabric cover helps the foundation blend seamlessly
with your bedroom decor.
- Breathable comfort
- The iFrame was designed to help your memory foam bed perform its
best, and that includes helping the bed ventilate. Sleep Aid already
gives you the HRC system for the top of the mattress, but the iFrame
allows air to circulate beneath the bed as well, helping your mattress
ventilate even better.
Multiple Uses
The iFrame can be used in two ways to suit all of your needs. When
assembled with the optional wheels, your iFrame is a fully functional
bed frame. If you choose to use your iFrame with an existing bed frame,
you can leave the wheels aside and the iFrame will fit inside your
bed frame like a box spring would.
Do I Have To Buy The iFrame?
No, you don't! Platform beds work great, and many of our customers
choose this option for their new mattress. Some resourceful people
even lay a piece of plywood over their existing box spring, and in
most cases this works fine too. The thing to remember is that your
memory foam mattress needs a firm flat surface to lay on, so that
it can do its job properly.
Why Can't I Use My Old Box spring?
Box springs are "springy", of course. Since a memory foam
mattress is a complete sleep system, it has all of the springiness
it needs built right in. When memory foam isn't supported by a firm
surface, you sink too far into the bed, and that isn't healthy.
PLEASE
NOTE: Foundations/frames are NOT sold separately. You must
purchase a mattress to order a foundation/frame.
